Why Ham Ava?

HamAva provides a training program that is well organized and comprehensive. It follows the curriculum, of established psychoanalytic institutes around the world. HamAva faculty consists of both Farsi speaking Iranian psychotherapists and psychoanalysts, as well as international faculty members who are psychoanalysts trained abroad. The institute provides cutting edge, innovative psychoanalytic workshops and conferences, with guest speakers from all over the world. Recent speakers have included Richard Gartner (Sexual abuse of boys), and Ghislaine Boulanger (Adult trauma). Future events will feature Mark Epstein (Buddhism and Psychoanalysis), Judith Herman (Trauma) and Alessandra Lemma (Body states). HamAva is the only institute in Iran to offer a two year program on Women and Psychoanalysis.
