دکتر سیامک موحدی (Ph.D.,NCPsyA) استاد روان­کاوی، مدیر دورۀ دکتری مطالعات روان­کاوی، جامعه و فرهنگ در انستیتو روان­کاوی بوستون و استاد جامعه­‌شناسی دانشگاه ماساچوست است. وی فارغ‌التحصیل انستیتو روان­کاوی بوستون و دانشگاه ایالتی واشنگتون است.

او سردبیر آمریکای شمالی مجلۀ Psychoanalytic Discourse است و عضو انجمن روان­کاوی آمریکا (APsaA)، انجمن ملی پیشبرد روان­کاوی (NAAP)، انجمن بین‌­المللی روانکاوی (IPA) و انجمن روان­شناسی آمریکا (APA) است.

تخصص و علایق پژوهشی دکتر موحدی شامل این موارد است: روانکاوی، روان‌پزشکی اجتماعی، روان­شناسی اجتماعی، نشانه­‌شناسی و تحلیل فرهنگی، روش­‌شناسی کمی‌و کیفی، پژوهش نظری و بالینی و فلسفۀ علم و حیطۀ پژوهش‌­های فعلی وی این موارد است: مطالعۀ بین فرهنگی صمیمیت و روابط زناشویی، رابطۀ ساختار اجتماعی و آسیب­‌شناسی روانی، مطالعۀ بین فرهنگی خودکشی و رفتار خودتخریبی، نشانه­‌شناسی و روان­شناسی اجتماعی مد، تحلیل متنی و تجربی افسانه‌ها و فولکلورها، تحلیل متنی و تجربی رویاها و تحلیل فرازبان­شناختی گفتمان درمانی است.
